TEAM CAPTAINS AGAINST RACISM
Concerning the 10th edition of the Week Against Racism and Violence in Sports, the Portuguese Footballers' Association (SJPF) has gathered all of 1st and 2nd Portuguese Divisions, as well of the National Squad, on the fight against the plague of racism and violence. All players haver agreed on stating some words gainst racism in order to raise awareness on the problem. SJPF will soon reveal every statement.

The signing of the Memorandum - Football is About Being United has been a landmark on the beginning of the 10th edition of the Week Against Racism and Violence in Sports, an initiative of Portuguese Footballers' Association. The event, that happened in the National Museum of Sports, in Lisbon, has gathered all of the signing members, with Abel Xavier (initiative ambassador), Emanuel de Medeiros (EPFL CEO) and former footballers watching in the audience.

The Portuguese Footballers' Association is promoting, until March 5th, the Week Against Racism and Violence in Sports. Events will be developed among youngsters, the broader audience and footballers.
