The General Assembly of the SJPF, chaired by João Nogueira da Rocha, unanimously approved the Financial Report of the year 2014 and the Budget for the year 2015.

The President of the SJPF, Joaquim Evangelista, welcomes the leading role that the SJPF has taken the structure of football, with actives reflexes in the defense of the players and the sport.

The 2014 exercise had a positive balance of €192,252.61 and it was decided that this amount would be applied to the education fund, Player Solidarity Fund and allocated to the acquisition of the Union’s headquarter. "The positive financial results demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of work developed", said Joaquim Evangelista.

The President of the SJPF also presented the projects under development for 2015, including the fight against match-fixing, the creation of a mental health program and the education offer to the players, prioritizing the qualification of professional footballers.
