The portuguese international José Fonte is the big highlight of the most recent edition of the Union’s official publication.

The Southampton’s captain confesses in a big interview to “Players” that National Team players dream to win Euro 2016, which will be held in France from June 10th to July 10th of the upcoming year.

“Players” number 61 also features a special about FIFPro’s 50 years of existence and an interview with the only Beira Mar’s resistant of the squad from last season. Beira Mar is a club that descended directly from Second League to the 2nd Divison of Aveiro’s District.

SJPF also presents Darfur United, an outstanding club concerning the refugee’s inclusion, and interviews several portuguese players, among them Gonçalo Brandão, Tozé and Pedro Ribeiro.

ILLEGAL PLAYERS

Apropos of the public cases about the identification by the Portuguese Immigration and Borders Service (SEF) of foreign players in an illegal situation, the Union alerts footballers to the sector’s specialities and to the needed documentation for entering and remaining in Portugal. Remember that the Union integrates, together with SEF, FPF and the League, the work group that aims to indicate the cases of fraud to the law and protect the player’s rights and guarantees of the foreign players that act out in Portugal.
