It took place on February 1st, at the National Museum of Sport, the Portuguese Amateur Players Association (APJA) presentation, founded with the The Professional Football Players' Union (SJPF) support.

The APJA creation results of the need to fight the problems that affect amateur players in football, futsal and beach football, male and female.

FIRST GENERAL-ASSEMBLY

Parallel to the APJA’s presentation, the first General-Assembly was carried out in which governing bodies were elected and status were approved. The APJA’s 32 partners, attending the General-Assembly presentation, approved the status by a unanimous vote.

The Union’s vice-president was inducted Presidente of APJA’s Chamber, in the first General-Assembly of the association: “We want to take advantage of the Union’s professional structure and put it at APJA’s service to solve the amateur player’s problems.”

APJA GOVERNING BODIES

José Carlos, João Oliveira and Vasco Matos presided to the Chamber, General-Assembly and APJA’s Audit Committee, respectively. The governing bodies were elected to the quadrennium 2016-2019.
