ACTION WE PLAY THE SAME GAME

It took place on February 15th, in the Alcochete Academy, the first awareness action together with the clubs within the framework of the campaign “In Field We Play The Same Game”, promoted by the three class associations: SJPF, APAF and ANTF.

Sporting Club of Portugal gave motto to a series of initiatives that will be managed together with all the First and Second League clubs. Sporting’s president, Bruno de Carvalho, the coach Jorge Jesus and the remaining technical team and captain Adrien Silva and squad attended the information session.

Joaquim Evangelista, president of the Union (SJPF, José Gomes, president of the Portuguese Association of Football Referees (APAF), and Duarte Gomes, ambassador of the initiative, were the representatives of the campaign that went to the Alcochete Academy.

The visit to Sporting Club of Portugal settled the beginning of the third phase of the campaign “In Field We Play The Same Game - Sportive Positive Attitude”, that consists in visiting all professional leagues clubs, bearing in mind the teaching approach of the arbitration rules, the exchange of experiences between players, coaches and referees, the fair-play fomentation and the appeal to the cooperation among every sportive agents.

The campaign started on January 25th, with the signing of a protocol between the three class associations (SJPF, APAF and ANTF), following the exhibition of t-shirts and banners allusive to the initiative in the televised games of the First League 20th journey and the Second League 27th journey.

Apropos the “Rafael Kneif case”, the responsible for the Union’s legal office, João Oliveira, warned the portuguese and foreign players to the danger that is signing contracts to a Romanian club. The Romania insolvency legal framework establishes that the clubs mustn’t free the players until their finances are refurbished.
