JOÃO LUCAS A YEAR OF MISSING HIM

On May 26th marks a year that João Lucas passed away, former football player and Union’s delegate on the Northern zone of the country.

Lucas, that represented the Serbia’s Red Star, Boavista, Académica, Anadia, Sp. Pombal and Alcobaça Gym, passed away on May 26th 2015 victim of cardiac arrest.

To signal a year of him passing away, the Union will soon present an initiative destined to honor his memory.

The Professional Football Players' Union (SJPF), on the scope of Project Solidarity, delivered a check to Taipas Social Center, an institution of social solidarity that supports children, young people and elderly people in all shortfall situations or decrease of livelihoods or inability to work.
