Joaquim Evangelista, Portuguese Players’ Union president, considers that the 177 football players that are part of the unemployed statistic fall short from the real number.
In an interview to Lusa agency, SJPF’s president said that the presented numbers “don’t reflect the total number of working professional players, or recently retired, that are in unemployment situations.”
