The Veterans Council of Portuguese Players’ Union takes office this Thursday (March 1st), by 12.00 pm, starting a regular activity at the service of community and Portuguese sport.

Presided by António Simões, and counting with 11 elements, Veterans Council is composed by former players who are widely recognized references, by their football career and social relevance of their actions.

Villarreal player and membership of Portuguese Players’ Union, Rúben Semedo, is involved in an episode that, besides to affect on personal plan, has implications to his sportive career.

Portuguese Union already transmitted to the player representatives total availability to support him and also contacted Spanish Union (AFE), which is attentive to the process evolution.
