Chiquinho, from Moreirense, was named the Best Young Player of the First League in October and November by the Portuguese Players Union. The 23-year-old won 19.44% of the vote, followed by Tíago Sá (SC Braga) with 13.64% and team-mate Ivanildo Fernandes, who completed the podium with 10.83% of the voters preference.

In the Second League, defender Guilherme Ramos (Mafra) was honored as the Best Young Player of October/November.
