FIFPro is alerting players to a fraudulent scheme on LinkedIn, where a fake agent has extorted money in return for promises of contracts.

The World Players Union denounces that there is a standard behavior in which the fake agents contacts the players through the LinkedIn network, revealing that there is a club interested, but that the player needs to pay a fee.

The Union clarifies the players about the conditions under which this type of agreement is valid.
