Speaking of distinction, the Union is on the ground handing out awards to players of the Best 11 of 2019 (Liga NOS, LigaPro and Liga BPI). In Faro, Luís Rocha and Fabrício Simões, who stood out at the service of FC Famalicão last season, received the trophy awarded by the players and praised the fact that the Union values the athletes of the Second League.

At Tapadinha, in Alcântara, Lúcia Alves, Benfica’s forward who played in Valadares Gaia last season, received the trophy for being in the Best 11 of the BPI League. The 21-year-old applauded the growth of women's football in Portugal and confessed to wanting to win more titles.
