The transition to another activity is something that football players should start thinking about, especially those who are currently without a club. In July and August, the Union promoted the training camp for players out of contract, and more than half were already hired by clubs. Of the 53 players who participated in the 2019 training camp, 27 found a new club to pursue their careers, resulting in a placement rate of over 50%.

Congratulations to all players who have signed contract and merit also to those who are in the Best 11 of the Second League. Five players of Paços de Ferreira were elected to the Best 11 of the year and four of them received the trophy awarded by the Players’ Union. Bruno Santos, Marco Baixinho, Luiz Carlos and Pedrinho praised the creation of this award, which recognize the work of the Second League players, in Portugal.
