At Financial Training Week, which runs from October 28-31, the Players Union and the National Council of Financial Supervisors (CNSF) presented a unique study about the financial literacy of footballers in Portugal.
424 soccer players were surveyed in Portugal, of which 51.9% of the Second League, 26.9% of the First League, 11.1% of the Women's League and 10.1% of the Third League.
The study reveals that 79% of players manage their income alone and 56.4% of footballers plan their family budget (mostly monthly). It was also concluded that 81.4% of the players surveyed save regularly, and footballers save more often than the general population (59%).
