TRAINING CAMP CAMBRIDGE BOND

Unemployed players will have the opportunity to attend language courses for free.

Joaquim Evangelista, SJPF president, and Adrian Mather, Portuguese Cambridge School director, signed an agreement which renew the partnership for the 11th SJPF Training Camp.

This agreement, active since 2006, conceals the free lecture of intensive language courses to unemployed players who are registered in the camp (North and South). Courses will be held in Lisbon, Oporto, Coimbra, Almada and Funchal.

Adrian Mather states the relevance of the event, saying that “it is an honor to be associated with such a noble and socially active initiative which helps the players who need the most”, and that he “would like players used the existing partnership”. “It is important that any person knows a foreign language, which is necessary in every situation. Every player who goes to a foreign club has to speak a little English”, he believes.

Joaquim Evangelista has also shown his happiness with the signing of this agreement. “It is with great pleasure that I watch institutions like Cambridge School to remain SJPF partners in the Training Camp. I would like to thank Adrian Mather and Richard Nicholas, former Cambridge School CEO, for all the support they have granted this initiative”.
