No âmbito do Dia Internacional da Luta Contra a Discriminação Racial, que se assinalou a 21 de março, a Liga Portugal organizou um webinar, em parceria com o Sindicato dos Jogadores, a APAF e a ANTF, sobre o tema.

O ex-internacional português e embaixador do Sindicato contra o racismo e a violência no desporto, Abel Xavier, foi um dos oradores e lembrou que todos nós fazemos parte da solução para acabar com o racismo.

As part of the International day for the elimination of the racial discrimination (march 21), Portuguese League organized a webinar, in partnership with hte Portuguese Players Union, Portuguese Referees Union and National Coaches Association, to adress the main issues related with this topic in modern football.

Former portuguese international and union’s ambassador against racism and violence in sport, Abel Xavier, was one of the speakers and remembered that all of us are part of the solution to fight racism.

Depois de terem sido anunciados os Melhores Jogadores de fevereiro, o Sindicato divulgou esta semana o nome dos jovens futebolistas que mais se destacaram no passado mês, nas duas competições profissionais. Nuno Santos (Paços de Ferreira) e Henrique Pereira (Benfica B) foram os vencedores dos prémios Melhor Jovem da Primeira e Segunda Liga, respetivamente, no mês de fevereiro.

After the announcement of the Best players in february, Portuguese Union revealed this week the name of the best young players in the past month, for the professional competitions. Nuno Santos (FC Paços de Ferreira) and Henrique Pereira (SL Benfica B) were the winners of the february awards for the Best Young Player of the First and Second League, respectively.

The status of a displaced citizen due to the invasion of Ukraine can now be applied online in Portugal. Portuguese Union informs about the conditions under which this request can be made, which allows to work or study in the country as a legal resident.
